Co-Chairs of McDermott to Step Down in 2017

Jeff Stone and Peter Sacripanti, co-chairs of McDermott Will & Emery since 2009, are stepping down from their post, effective Jan. 1, 2017.

The pair announced the decision to the firm’s employees in an internal memo on Wednesday and Stone subsequently took a call with Big Law Business to explain the leadership change.

Stone, 59, and Sacripanti, 60, will hand over the reins to a new chair or chairs, who will be elected in the coming months, said Stone. He said the firm has not yet identified its next leader.
