After Paul Weiss has doubled down on building out its large scale M&A transactions practice, one partner has found that his practice doesn’t fit as well as it did when he joined eight years ago.
“As the firm becomes mega, it’s hard to get people interested in doing middle market deals,” said Rob Goldbaum, the head of investment management transactions at Paul Weiss, who joined Paul Hastings earlier this week.
