David Lola was a contract attorney being paid $25 per hour to code documents and occasionally redact words. Does that count as practicing law?

That question was batted around during oral arguments on Friday in the 2ndU.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in an overtime wage case that could have wide consequences for law firms that use contract attorneys.
