Baker & McKenzie Tops Latest Global Brand Survey

When it comes to global brand recognition, having a large geographic footprint appears to be key, according to a new survey.

The finding, while on its face may seem obvious, is important because firms with the strongest global brands are not necessarily considered the most elite and profitable — yet they have opened offices across the globe.

Baker & McKenzie, DLA Piper, Clifford Chance, Norton Rose Fulbright and Hogan Lovells had the highest global brand recognition, in that order, according to a survey of 1,059 legal buyers for multinational firms released by the legal market research company Acritas on Monday.
