Chicago Lawyer on Campus Justice and Sexual Misconduct

Andrew Boutros, a former federal prosecutor in Chicago, was recently appointed to head up the American Bar Association’s task force to study how colleges treat students involved in sexual assault accusations.

Boutros, a partner at Seyfarth Shaw since 2015, worked as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Northern District of Illinois for eight years, where he tried Ross Ulbricht, founder of Silk Road, a secret internet site hidden from search engines where users bought and sold drugs and other illegal services.
