Consilio Will Swallow Huron Legal in $112M Deal

In its third acquisition in the last two months, the upstart eDiscovery company Consilio announced on Thursday it will purchase its larger competitor Huron Legal for $112 million.

The combined company, effective Dec. 31, will offer eDiscovery and document management services to more than 1,500 corporations and law firms, and operate in nine countries, including 11 cities throughout the U.S., according to Consilio CEO Andy Macdonald.

Its competitors include FTI Consulting, Kroll and Epiq Solutions.
