Dentons Gets Bigger (Again), This Time in Mexico and Colombia

Partners have voted to approve a three way combination between global legal behemoth Dentons, Cardenas & Cardenas in Colombia and Lopez Velarde, Heftye y Soria (LVHS) in Mexico, the firms announced on Friday.

After the combination is finalized in 2016, Dentons will have 7,400 lawyers, according to a firm spokeswoman.

The move will give Dentons its first physical presence in those countries, which represent two of Latin America’s top four economies, according to the firm.
