United Airlines General Counsel Brett Hart can expect some turbulence in the next week as he deals with the fallout from video footage of security guards violently dragging a bloodied passenger off one its flights that has gone viral on the internet and provoked a public relations nightmare.
Now, people are threatening to boycott United, including many Chinese fliers who make up an important revenue source for the airline; and the stock price fell 1.1 percent, about a $255 million loss in market capitalization; plus, the passenger has hired lawyers who say he is recovering in a hospital.
