Dickstein Shapiro, a Washington, D.C. law firm that has seen its attorney roster drop from 400 to 200 lawyers over the course of five years, is expected to lose another rainmaker: a top insurance recovery partner in California who sources say has been one of the firm’s most highly compensated lawyers.
Kirk Pasich, who since 2007 has helped clients obtain more than $5 billion in insurance recoveries according to his firm profile, is slated to leave for a competitor in the coming days, according to at least nine sources, who varied from former Dickstein lawyers to other industry observers.
