Exclusive: Pillsbury Winthrop, Chadbourne in Talks to Merge

Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, founded in San Francisco, is in talks to merge with Chadbourne & Parke, of Manhattan, according to seven sources familiar with the matter.

The talks are considered as preliminary, according to some of the sources.

If consummated, the deal could create an $810 million firm by revenue, placing it in a desirable position among the 50 largest law firms in the country, according to the most recent financial figures reported in The American Lawyer.
