In the wake of a scandal that analysts have said is akin to insider trading, fantasy sports company FanDuel is turning to Debevoise & Plimpton to conduct an internal investigation.
In a statement on Tuesday, FanDuel said it has asked former federal judge and United States Attorney General Michael Mukasey — who is a partner at Debevoise & Plimpton — to evaluate the company’s internal controls, standards and practices.
Separately, it will also create an internal advisory board, led by Michael Garcia , a partner at Kirkland & Ellis and a former federal prosecutor in New York, the release said.
