Headhunter Scorned: Inside a Failed Law Firm Placement

It started off as a normal call between a headhunter and a law firm partner.

On Nov. 9, 2015, Texas-based recruiter Sean Cassidy spoke employment options with Dean Schaner , a labor and employment partner with Haynes and Boone in Houston, according to a recent lawsuit filed in Texas court.

Before disclosing which law firm he was running a search for, Cassidy laid out two requests.
