On Tuesday, iManage, the enterprise content management software company used at numerous law firms, announced a management-led leveraged buyout from Hewlett-Packard.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

HP had acquired iManage in 2011 when it purchased Autonomy for $11.1 billion, which had owned the company since 2009.

Founded in 1995, iManage claims more than 400 corporate legal departments, 80 percent of the world’s largest law firms and two of the Big Four accounting firms as its clients. It produces a software focused on helping professional services firms securely manage documents and email and track any revisions made to such documents.
