Jenner Leader: ‘Little Disagreement’ Technology Drives the Law Profession

This isn’t a great time to be a litigator: There have been layoffs at law firms including Goodwin Procter and Kasowitz Benson Torres & Friedman, and industry analysts believe more litigators could face the chopping block. Clients also are less willing to spend money duking it out with adversaries in discovery when there are increasingly cheaper alternatives to litigation. Outsourcing the mundane parts of litigation, such as document review, is now commonplace.
