Justice Dept. Compliance Attorney Leaves Government

The Justice Department’s compliance attorney, Hui Chen, will leave the DOJ ahead of her contract’s end, the department said.

A DOJ spokesman said Chen “has elected to leave the Fraud Section in order to pursue other ethics and compliance related opportunities,” effective tomorrow. Her contract was set to expire in September and a job posting for her replacement was listed several weeks ago.

Chen worked in the fraud section of the DOJ’s criminal division and was the first person to assume the position when she was hired two years ago to bring a private sector perspective into the Justice Department. ...
