Kasowitz Benson Chops Off the Friedman

Law firm Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman LLP, known for its close ties to Donald Trump, and more recently Russia, has changed its name to Kasowitz Benson Torres LLP, following the resignation of partner David Friedman to become the new U.S. Ambassador to Israel.

The change became effective March 24, the day after Friedman’s nomination was confirmed by the Senate on March 23. He was sworn in as ambassador earlier this afternoon in a Washington DC ceremony attended by many of his former colleagues.
