The global law firm King & Wood Mallesons has announced that it will rake in $18.4 million from its partners through a capital call in the EUME.
The firm, which brought in $1.02 billion in revenue in 2015 , said that 98 percent of its EUME partnership voted to approve the recapitalization of the firm.
The firm, with more than 2,000 lawyers, is the product of a three-way merger between China’s King & Wood and Australia’s Mallesons Stephen Jaques in 2012, with the U.K.’s SJ Berwin joining in 2013. Its headquarters are in Hong Kong.
