Kirkland Hires Two Corporate Partners From Weil Gotshal

Kirkland & Ellis is bringing onboard a pair of private equity partners from Weil Gotshal & Manges, according to two sources familiar with the matter.

New York-based partners Michael Weisser and Sarah Stasny will have their going-away drinks this evening in midtown Manhattan, according to a firm email provided by one of the sources and reviewed by Big Law Business.

The two lawyers represent private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in acquisitions, financing, restructurings and corporate matters, according to their online biographies.
