Where would DLA Piper like to expand most?
It’s difficult to tell, really. The global behemoth could be talking to lawyers about coming on-board in any of the 30 countries it occupies. But the big news today comes from the Chilean market.
Legal Week reports that the firm is looking for a combination with a local practice in Chile.
A DLA Piper spokesman confirmed as much to the publication, and to Big Law Business: “We are exploring the Chilean market as part of our ongoing strategy in Latin America, and are talking with some local firms as part of that process.”
