Continuing its push into the Asia-Pacific region, Morgan Lewis & Bockius announced Friday it is opening a Shanghai office with the hire of a 23-lawyer team led by corporate transactions attorney Mitch Dudek.
Dudek and his team, which includes four additional partners plus 18 associates and 12 staff, join from Dentons. They had been working there since before Dentons’ 2015 swiss-verein merger with the Chinese law firm Dacheng.
The move follows Morgan Lewis’s combination last year with an 80-lawyer Singaporean firm, which goes by the moniker Morgan Lewis Stamford, and its 2014 mass hire of Bingham McCutchen Lawyers which allowed it to move ...
