Neil Eggleston on Working for Obama and Returning to Kirkland

Neil Eggleston doesn’t like talking critically about the Trump Administration after serving as former President Barack Obama’s top lawyer in the White House for three years.

“I have decided early on that I was not going to be critical of my successor or the administration,” Eggleston told Big Law Business.

Such bad-mouthing is frowned upon and not good for business for many lawyers in private practice. But in a recent interview, Eggleston did offer his thoughts about the policies of the White House Counsel under Obama and the principles he and his colleagues lived by.
