—Time Inc.announced it has promoted Lauren Ezrol Klein to executive vice president and general counsel.
Klein, who will report to CEO Joe Ripp, previously served as senior vice president and deputy general counsel. She will succeed Lon Jacobs who will depart Time Inc. in September.
Klein joined Time Inc. in 1996, and “played a leading role in the June 2014 spin-off from Time Warner Inc.,” according to a press release that called her the company’s second-most-senior lawyer.
