New York District Attorney GC Returns to Dechert

Ben Rosenberg, former general counsel of the New York District Attorney’s office, has returned to Dechert LLP.

His practice will focus on white collar criminal defense and securities litigation, representing banks, mutual fund managers and private equity investment funds.

Rosenberg first joined Dechert about a decade ago with a group of lawyers from Swidler Berlin Shereff Friedman. He temporarily left Dechert twice: once in 2007 to join then-New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo’s staff as chief litigation counsel and more recently to serve as the general counsel for New York County District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr. in 2014. ...
