Norton Rose and Chadbourne to Combine

Another global law firm is in the making.

The legal behemoth Norton Rose Fulbright and smaller Chadbourne & Parke of New York have announced that the two firms will combine in the second quarter.

After the combination is effective, the newly formed firm is expected to staff more than 4,000 lawyers in 58 offices spanning 32 countries, the firms said in a statement. This includes more than 1,000 in the United States and more than 300 lawyers in New York.
