O’Melveny Expands Sports Practice in Manhattan

O’Melveny & Myers is expanding its sports law practice in New York City.

On Monday, the firm announced that it’s bringing onboard Jared Bartie, a sports deal partner from Herrick Feinstein, the law firm that was reportedly in merger talks with Crowell & Moring as of late last year.

Bartie, 48, said that he was drawn to O’Melveny’s international practice and its presence in China, where it is stationed in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Beijing.
