Penn Law Event Brings Out Legal Tech Entrepreneurs

In an age when the demise of big law firms is constantly predicted, legal technology entrepreneurs face an uphill battle convincing lawyers that their products are not threats to the bottom line.

On Wednesday evening, Penn Law School alumni hosted more than 100 people at Bloomberg headquarters to network, and discuss how budding legal tech entrepreneurs can co-exist with their Big Law counterparts.

“The paralegals are really the ones who should be scared,” said Jason Boemig, a Fenwick & West lawyer who co-founded a contract workflow platform called Ironclad, Inc. last year.
