Despite recent technological developments, “searching through large amounts of data” remains the largest obstacle to locating potentially relevant data in eDiscovery, according to a poll released Aug. 19.
The second biggest obstacle was identifying and accessing data sources.
Conducted by eDiscovery vendor Exterro Inc., the poll surveyed 208 In-House Participants, which included about 85 attorneys and also 41 litigation support staff, 32 IT professionals, 23 paralegals and a number of others who did not fit into any of these categories.
