Reed Smith Strikes Singapore Alliance

Reed Smith has struck a formal alliance with Singapore law practice Resource Law LLC.

Reed Smith lists 21 lawyers in its Singapore office, while Resource Law staffs eight, according to a press release announcing the deal.

The deal is a move to bolster the firms’ cross-border transactions and legal advisory work involving Singapore law, the firms said.

“Our operations and strategy will seek to mirror Reed Smith’s global strategy, which is to focus on industry sectors in which the practice is already recognized as a market leader,” said S Mohan, managing director of Resource Law, in a statement.
