An SEC director under former Chairman Mary Jo White will return to Ropes & Gray after spending three years at the agency, the law firm said June 1.
Keith Higgins, who led the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Corporation Finance from 2013 to 2016, will serve as the chairman of the firm’s securities and governance practice in Boston. He spent more than three decades at Ropes & Gray before joining the agency.
At the SEC, Higgins helped lead rulemaking initiatives under the Dodd-Frank and Jumpstart Our Business Startups acts. Now, he will assist public ...
