Winston & Strawn is on a hiring streak.
On Monday, the firm with great fanfare announced the addition of 23 partners from eight separate law firms to launch a Dallas office.
Today it brings news that it’s hired Shearman & Sterling’s global head of tax controversy practice in New York.
Lawrence Hill joins Winston as a partner, the firm said.
Hill previously chaired the tax controversy and litigation group at Dewey & LeBoeuf between 2003 and 2012 when it went bankrupt. Before that, he was a partner at White & Case between 1998 and 2003, according to his LinkedIn profile.
