Trump Hires 15 Lawyers From Big Law

President Trump announced 26 additions to the White House Counsel team with many attorneys hailing from large law firms.

Fifteen of the 26 came from Big Law, with the most lawyers coming from Jones Day and Kirkland & Ellis: Trump tapped four attorneys from each firm.

Of course, some of these names have already been mentioned in the media, but Trump brought the official word on Tuesday. The announcement said they will serve under White House Counsel Donald F. McGahn II, who joined the administration from Jones Day.

Below, we’ve broken down the lawyers by the firms where they join from, as well as government agencies and other organizations.

Greg Katsas serves as Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy Counsel to the President.

Annie Donaldson serves as Deputy Assistant to the President and Special Counsel to the President.

James Burnham serves as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Associate Counsel to the President.

David Morrell serves as Associate Counsel to the President.

Makan Delrahim serves as Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy Counsel to the President.

John Eisenberg serves as Deputy Assistant to the President, National Security Council Legal Advisor, and Deputy Counsel to the President for National Security Affairs.

Mike McGinley serves as Associate Counsel to the President.

John Moran serves as Associate Counsel to the President.

Claire Murray serves as Associate Counsel to the President.
