The U.K. government was forced to release its arguments in a high-profile Brexit lawsuit after a judge said the court documents were covered by the principles of “open justice.”
Lawyers for the government had sought to keep their arguments confidential until a full hearing next month, but were challenged by a public-interest group that is seeking to join the lawsuit.
