Wake Up Call: Jenner & Block Tops Ranking for U.S. Pro Bono Work

• Jenner & Block reclaimed its No. 1 spot on American Lawyer’s latest U.S. ranking of Big Law firms’ pro bono commitments, with its lawyers averaging 141 hours each in 2016. Dechert stayed on top for its lawyers’ average international pro bono work. The report says big firms donated 5.3 million hours worldwide in 2016, slightly better than 2015 but still down compared with before the financial crisis. Latham & Watkins had the most total pro bono hours overall. ( American Lawyer )
