Wake Up Call: Uber Fires 20 After Perkins Coie Probe

• Uber Technologies Inc. fired more than 20 people after a Perkins Coie’s company-wide investigation into harassment claims and it hired at least two high-profile senior executives whose jobs will include setting strategy and a rethink of branding. Former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, of Covington Burling, is conducting a separate investigation for which a summary could be made public next week. ( Bloomberg ) Perkins Coie lawyer Bobby Wilson said his firm’s investigation was “dogged.” More firings at the company are likely. ( Recode )
