Will Associate Salary Raises Be Billed to Clients?

Some general counsel are grappling with how to respond to a recent round of salary hikes at law firms.

Bank of America’s GC David Leitch told some outside law firms his bills better not start increasing now, according to The Wall Street Journal .

“We... do not expect to bear the costs,” Leitch reportedly wrote in an email to the firms.
