With Fewer in Law School, Job Prospects Improve

There’s finally some good news for law school students: Compared to the previous year, a higher percentage of the class of 2014 found entry-level jobs, the American Bar Association announced on Wednesday.

About 60 percent of the 2014 law graduates were in full-time positions that require a law degree as of March 15, nearly three percent higher than the proportion of graduates in 2013 who found such jobs. The figures were included in the ABA’s aggregate national data on law graduate employment outcomes for the class of 2014, which included an online table that provides comparisons between 2014 and 2013.
