With New Overtime Rules Looming, Littler Eyes Opportunity

With competition in the legal market intensifying, more and more often, law firms are creating free online portals that showcase their expertise in a particular area of law.

Case in point: As the U.S. Department of Labor plans to unroll new overtime rules this Spring, Littler Mendelson launched Littler Xmpt Toolkit.

Unveiled this week by the roughly 1000-lawyer firm, the new online “toolkit” contains a bundle of free information on the new rules, such as a history of the regulations, a whitepaper, and public comments about the regulations, as well as other fee-based services.
