Pillsbury Unveils D.C. Litigator as New Firm Leader

Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman is set to announce on Tuesday that partner David T. Dekker is its new chairman-elect.

The election of Dekker, 59, a civil litigation and alternative disputes practitioner based in Washington, D.C., comes at a critical time for Pillsbury, which is in exploratory discussions with Chadbourne & Parke in a deal that could create a $810 million grossing law firm, placing it among the top 50 largest in the United States by revenue.
